A biblioteca do campus, além buscar contribuir para a formação de leitores, desenvolver competências informacionais, empenha-se em estar integrada às dinâmicas do ensino, pesquisa e extensão. om o intuito de apresentar diversas atividades culturais ao longo de cada mês letivo, de preferência na última quinta feira, em diferentes espaços do campus, com a promoção de diálogos que permitissem a reflexão acerca dos processos inerentes à criação e práticas artísticas entre estudantes e membros daquele âmbito universitário e escolar. Dentre as ações apresentadas ao longo de dois anos, destacam-se: peça teatral, bate papo, exibição de filmes, ida de turmas ao cinema, grupos musicais, workshop, sarau, entre outros. Constatou-se o envolvimento da biblioteca, dos alunos, professores e convidados externos nas temáticas oferecidas, que culminaram em momentos de apreciação à arte e à cultura, permeados de significados àquela comunidade. Abstract: The paper discusses an experience report from an extension project developed between the library and teachers of the Rural Zone campus of the Federal Institute of Education of Sertão Pernambucano, whose objective was to create a space of cultural and artistic coexistence between the entire community the absence of such activities in the environment. The campus library, besides seeking to contribute to the formation of readers, develop informational skills, strives to be integrated with the dynamics of teaching, research and extension. The "Quintas Culturais" project was designed and planned with the intention of presenting several cultural activities during each school month, preferably on Thursday, in different spaces of the campus, with the promotion of dialogues that allowed reflection on the processes inherent in artistic creation and practices among students and members of that university and school environment. Among the actions presented over two years, the most outstanding are: theater play, chat, film screening, going to the movies, music groups, workshop, sarau, among others. It was noticed the involvement of the library, the students, teachers and external guests in the themes offered, culminating in moments of appreciation of art and culture, permeated �with meanings to that community.
