Há uma mudança de paradigma do acesso para a habilidade de selecionar fontes de informação autoritativas e que atendem às necessidades do indivíduo. O trabalho consiste em um relato de experiência da proposta de um novo serviço na Biblioteca de Ciências Jurídicas do Sistema de Bibliotecas (SiBi) da Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR). Propõe o serviço de DSI baseado nos projetos de pesquisa cadastrados no currículo lattes dos docentes do Setor de Ciências Jurídicas da UFPR. Objetiva oferecer um serviço especializado e também levar ao conhecimento dos docentes a existência de ferramentas de DSI. Pretende demonstra como esse serviço pode facilitar o planejamento e desenvolvimento de suas pesquisas. Também busca potencializar o uso das fontes de informação disponibilizadas pela biblioteca e pagas pela instituição. O serviço de DSI foi criado há aproximadamente 60 anos. Entretanto, será oferecido pela primeira vez na Biblioteca de Ciências Jurídicas da UFPR. A equipe do setor de referência desta biblioteca percebeu uma oportunidade de melhor aplicar as habilidades dos bibliotecários para contribuir com o desenvolvimento do ensino, pesquisa e extensão na universidade. Direito Abstract: Through selective dissemination of information (SDI) we assist the user while selecting information. SDI is also considered a specialized work. There is a paradigm shift from access to the ability to select authoritative information source that responds to the information needs. We describe a new service proposal to the law library at the library system from Universidade Federal do Paraná UFPR, (UFPR). registered at Currículo Lattes. We seek to offer a specialized service and to present SDI tool to professors. We intend to show how that service can help planning and developing research. We also seek to promote the use of the information source offered by the law library. The SDI service was created 60 years ago.
